Privacy policy

Luxe Link, Inc. ("Luxe Link," "we," "us") runs the online store at www.luxelink.com (the "Site"), where we sell our patented purse hooks and accessories. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the Site, shop with us, or get in touch; how we use it; who we share it with; and the choices you have. Our Terms of Service also apply when you use the Site.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, the items you order, and any gift note or gift preference you add. You enter payment details on Shopify's secure checkout; our payment processors handle them, and we never see or store your full card number.
When you use a customer account: the name, email address, addresses and order history linked to your account.
When you sign up for our emails: your email address.
When you contact us: your name, email address, order number (if you include one) and your message.
When you apply for a wholesale account: your business name, contact name, business address, website, email address and any comments you send.
When you apply to our Ambassador program: your name, email address, Instagram or TikTok handle, website or blog, and what you tell us about your audience.
When you write a product review: your name, email address, rating, review text, and any photos you choose to add. Reviews you post are public, so anyone visiting the Site can see your name as shown and what you wrote.

Information collected automatically

When you browse the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect your IP address, device and browser type, the pages and products you view, items you add to your bag, the site that referred you, the date and time of your visit, and your approximate location based on your IP address. We collect this through cookies, pixels and similar technologies, and through server logs.

How we use your information

To process, ship and deliver your orders, send order and shipping updates, and handle returns and exchanges.
To answer your questions and provide customer service.
To run your customer account.
To send marketing emails you signed up for. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
To review wholesale and Ambassador applications and manage those programs.
To collect and publish product reviews.
To show you Luxe Link ads on other websites, based on your visits to the Site (see "Cookies and tracking technologies" below).
To understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
To prevent fraud, keep the Site secure, and enforce our Terms of Service.
To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Cookies and tracking technologies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. The Site uses:

Necessary cookies from Shopify, which keep your bag, checkout and session working. The Site doesn't work properly without them.
Analytics from Shopify's built-in reporting, which shows us how visitors find and use the Site.
Advertising cookies from AdRoll, which let us show you Luxe Link ads on other websites after you visit the Site. You can opt out of interest-based ads from AdRoll and other participating companies at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
Embedded features from third parties: our Instagram feed (Instafeed), product reviews (Judge.me) and an accessibility tool (Accessibly). These providers may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, you may not be able to add items to your bag or check out.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described here:

Service providers that run parts of our business for us, including Shopify (our store platform, checkout and customer accounts), our payment processors (including Shopify Payments and Shop Pay), shipping carriers that deliver your orders, Mailchimp (marketing email), Judge.me (product reviews) and AdRoll (advertising).
Legal reasons: when we believe the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Luxe Link, our customers or others.
Business transfers: if Luxe Link is involved in a merger, sale or similar transaction, your information may transfer as part of it.
With your consent, or at your direction.

Under California law, our use of advertising cookies (AdRoll) may count as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out as described in "Your privacy rights" below.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

The Site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. We may not detect a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in every case. You can always opt out of advertising cookies by contacting us using the details below, or through the opt-out pages listed above.

Your privacy rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

Tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy.
Correct information that is inaccurate.
Delete your information, unless we need to keep it to complete an order, meet a legal obligation, or prevent fraud.
Stop sending you marketing emails (you can also use the unsubscribe link in any email).
Stop sharing your information for advertising.

To make a request, email shop@luxelink.com or call (424) 259-1298. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, and you can have an authorized agent make a request for you. We aim to respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. We keep order records for as long as tax, accounting and warranty needs require. We keep your email on our marketing list until you unsubscribe. We keep messages and applications for as long as we need them to respond and manage the relationship. After that, we delete the information or make it anonymous.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. Payments are processed on Shopify's checkout, which meets the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Customers outside the United States

We are based in the United States and ship to many other countries. If you shop with us from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

The Site links to other websites and services, such as Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest. Their own privacy practices apply, and this policy does not cover them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If we make significant changes, we will also note them on the Site or by email.
